Builder Christopher Brune celebrated the roofing ceremony for the new Arcadia Stern office building on 25 October traditionally with festive speeches, the carpenter’s recital, raising of the wreath and a hearty feast. Mayor Thomas Geisel, building entrepreneur Andreas Rotterdam and employees of various companies involved with construction participated with enthusiasm. The work is expected to be complete by May 2020. The 11-floor building shell is part of the Arcadia Parc, a project development of Brune Real Estate AG & Co. KG on an area of approx. 5 hectares at the Aaper Wald. At the moment, 212 flats are under construction in the Arcadia Parc, along with more than 11,500 sqare metres of new office areas. “Many people feel that living and working together on such small space is an option for them,” says mayor Thomas Geisel. “I am happy that this symbiosis of life and work is put into practice here.”
