Christopher Brune – innovative power from the cradle
After his father successfully continued the family's tradition in the fifth generation, Christopher Brune also took the logical step to enter the real estate business. Infected by his father's passion, he studied architecture and business management in Zürich and Vienna.
More
After learning the ropes in several renowned project development companies and architecture offices, he took over Brune Real Estate Management AG at a young age and thus a great deal of responsibility in the family-owned company. Today, Christopher Brune is on the board of directors of the group. He represents the values of his father and at the same time develops his own plans for the future. In the meantime, a substantial part of the real estate group is based on innovations he introduced.

Walter Brune – Architect and urban planner of global renown
After two years of practising with Professor Munzer, the 24-year-old engineer laid the foundations for Brune Immobilien Gruppe in 1950. He spent two decades developing not only large projects for many well-known persons from industry, but also their representative personal homes. Publications of his spectacular designs in architects' journals quickly brought him to fame.
More
Satellite offices in New York, Tehran, Kabul and Amsterdam were established to follow his international clients. In one exemplary project, he cooperated with Marcel Breuer in planning development projects for the World Bank.
Walter Brune invested the capital he acquired and his comprehensive knowledge as an architect in his own properties as well. He started building on them and developing them as far back as in 1960, in parallel with growing his architect's office. Since the early 1980s, he eventually became known as an architect, development and operator of inner-city shopping centres. In addition to the Kö-Galerie and Schadow Arkaden in Düsseldorf, he also designed the Neumarkt Galerie in Cologne and the Heuvel Galerie in Eindhoven. At the moment, he is applying the same passion as a planner, builder and "urban warrior" for sustainable further development of our urban centres that are worth preserving.
